I keep it in my BCD for the night dives, there's small jelly fish with nasty sting here particularly at night.
I considered investing in a full face mask to use on my inspiration but this simple idea works well.

Just by way of feedback, thanks for sending me one of your sting-guard face protectors. At this time of year, when the water is at its coldest - especially in the Welsh slate quarries - it's proven its worth as extra thermal protection. Normally, after seventy minutes or so in 4-6 degree water, I find it difficult to hold my demand valve in my mouth because of numb lips. With additional thermal protection from the sting-guard this is now much less of a problem. I'll let the other members of our marine survey team have a go if they ask nicely!

| Thanks Mark, Palm Cove, Cairns holiday saved. Dived in skin suit UV protection and 0.5 mm gloves hood and stingguard. Four people diving in just T shirt got badly stung from little jelly fish their holiday not so sweet. - Regards Clive (Portsmouth) |

At last an effective barrier to those dam lions mane jellyfish that we have suffered for so long and we can now continue to dive the year round feeling more snug and comfortable than in past chilling dives!!
It really is a bonus being able to concentrate on the photography and not to be concerned about the stingers. you have to date four happier divers up here on Arran because of Sting Guard,
