INSTRUCTIONS

There is a pre-cut slot in the front of your
Sting-Guard, this is where the mouthpiece of
your regulator fits. Your Sting-guard is made from neoprene which has a elastic quality enabling you to pass the regular mouthpiece through the opening.

You will find the neoprene make an excellent seal around the mouthpiece thus eliminating the possibilities of contact with the stinging cells of jellyfish on your lips. Once you have the mouthpiece in place turn the Sting-Guard inside out as (diagram A) shows. Ensure the strap is over the top of the regulator and not underneath.

Put on your neoprene hood and face mask, with your regulator inserted as above (diagram A) you put the regulator mouthpiece into your mouth.

Holding the mouthpiece between your teeth as normal place the chin section of the Sting-Guard against your chin.

You are now ready to pull the strap of the Sting-Guard over both your mask and your hood, using both your regulator and your chin as an anchor point.

At same time turning the Sting-Guard from the inside out position so the material side of the Sting-Guard is on the outside.

See (diagram C) for the correct method of holding the strap. Take hold of the Sting-Guard with both hands.
With both hands pull the Sting-Guard over your head clearing your mask and hood. The Sting-Guard has enough elasticity to stretch and be placed into position.

If you find the strap is twisted refer to (diagram C) for the correct way to hold the strap before pulling it over your head.

Finally make the necessary adjustments so that the Sting-Guard covers the exposed part of your face.

Lift the strap up the back of your head for a tighter fit.
To remove in an emergency simply pull the Sting-Guard down,
and tuck under you chin.
